They easily bend at the hips and shoulders, they are a little more difficult to pose at the elbows and knees and needs some force to be placed in a seated position with knees bent but the stiffness could loosen up over time
Dad is around 6" tall, mom is 5 1/2" tall, daughter is 3 1/4" tall, baby is 2 1/2" tall
